Philosophy

Established in 2004 , Jammers Volleyball Club (JVC) was founded after recognizing the need for an affordable, high quality volleyball development program in the Northern Durham area.

Headquartered at Riverside High School, JVC welcomes all interested players, regardless of skill level or school affilitation...determination is our only requirement. Our coaches firmly believe in training younger players to better insure a higher quality of play at the Middle and High school level. This is done by providing the opportunities and resources to fulfill this belief.

Unlike many clubs, JVC will not attempt to field a National Team for the sake of monetary gain or self-promotion. National team competition is often mistaken as a vehicle to guarantee scholarships to college bound volleyball players. A National team roster spot does NOT guarantee any player a college scholarship and any club conveying that assumption is only misleading the player or parent. Choosing the Right Club

Off season competition will provide players with a substantial amount of on-court experience and regular training. It is our goal to provide a safe, enjoyable volleyball experience for players and parents. JVC prides itself in being a parent friendly volleyball club. We seek to maintain open communication between players, parents and coaches, thus creating a positive experience for eveyone in the Jammers Volleyball family.
