UPDATED: Jammers Volleyball Club Info on Coronavirus 4/4/2020

We know that everyone is on edge concerning the pandemic that we are all experiencing. We hope and pray that every family member is safe and following all the guidelines prescribed by our government leaders. Based on current guidance, we plan to resume our training, tournaments and our end of season celebration in mid-May. This info as we know, is ever changing, so we are staying flexible with our plans in the upcoming future. Our goal is to give you solid communication, so that you will know our plan of action. Listed below are some updates that you need to know:

March 31st USA Volleyball announced they are, “...extending the elimination of sanctions for all USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, team activities, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) through April 30, 2020.”

March 30th President Trump announced the extension of the Stay at Home guidelines until the end of April.

March 23rd Governor Cooper issued Executive Order No. 120 which included the extension of school and gym closures to May 15, 2020.

More Resources on COVID-19

The health and welfare of our membership, volleyball families and fellow citizens is our primary concern in all decisions we are making during these uncharted times.

If you have further questions or concerns about the Coronavirus, Please find below the links of reputable information sources.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please call the North Carolina COVID-19 helpline at 1-866-462-3821.
We appreciate your assistance and cooperation with the situation. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update our families as needed.

Ultimately, we must abide by all of these requirements, which means that at this time there will be no Jammers volleyball until after May 15th, 2020.

We hope that everyone is following the Stay at Home Guidelines, unless you are essential personnel and most importantly, we hope that you all continue to stay healthy and safe!
