The Beginning

Jammers Volleyball Club - OUR BEGINING

Established in 2004, Jammers Volleyball Club (JVC) was founded by Riverside High School VB coaches Blaine Tendler and Michael Hodge, after recognizing the need to raise the skill level of high school players with additional training and competition in the offseason.

As the competition at the high school level continued to rise, coaches, Tendler and Hodge, sought to enter a team of current high school players in the Carolina Region/USAV JO league for the 2004-2005 season. A second team was formed with a core of incoming Riverside freshmen and the Jammers Volleyball Club began as a 19 member, two-team club.
