Why Jammers

Why Jammers?

At Jammers, our desire is for each player to reach a higher skill level. We understand the importance of providing a safe and positive environment that promotes both fundamental training and high competition to receive a quality experience.

Through the implementation of club-wide training, practices, and tournaments, we are able to teach our players the importance of competition, sportsmanship, and leadership. Jammers is also dedicated to hiring coaches who excel in training players for the next level. Our coaching staff includes coaches from all levels (middle, high school, club, collegiate, and Olympic) who are committed to the growth and development of every athlete.

We feel players should accept a position on a team where they will have the greatest opportunity to play and improve their volleyball skills. We keep this promise by attempting to place players on a team where they will provide the most impact, and benefit the most from their experience.

20 Seasons of Success:

Jammers VBC began as a single-team venture in 2004 by Coach Mike Hodge and Coach Blaine Tendler. Within 3 seasons, the club grew from 2 to 13 teams. Over the years, we have competed at regional, semi-national, and national levels and have had much success. Furthermore, over 30+ of our athletes have been recruited to play collegiately across all divisionsAs we enter our 20th season, Jammers continues to thrive in the steadfast training, competition, leadership, and sportsmanship of every athlete.

We have very humble beginnings and will always remember where we came from. As big as this thing gets, we will do our best to maintain a close relationship with our members while staying true to our dedication to training and developing skilled volleyball players in the area.

Our focus is not just to make players better, but to make them family.
